Challenge Burpee 5 x 5
I’ve had a ton of fun creating the burpee workouts that will be coming your way soon (in 2 weeks actually). I wanted to give you a sneak peek of a cool burpee workout…
Here’s a fun burpee workout that you can do anywhere without ANY equipment.
This is what you’ll do: 5 exercises, 5 reps, repeat the circuit up to 5 times.
These are the exercises:
- one legged burpee/other leg one legged burped
- inchworm push up
- double jump burpee
- prisoner reverse lunge
- plank with alternate leg lift (hold for 30 seconds)
And, just cuz I love to give you good workout ideas, I tried this jump rope workout, give it a try:
Jump – Push – Pull (ADVANCED Killer Version)
- 30 Double Unders (Jump Rope Goes Under Twice)
- 30 Pushups
- 10 pull ups
- 25 Double Unders
- 25 Pushups
- 8 pull ups
- 20 Double Unders
- 20 Pushups
- 6 Pull ups
- 15 Double Unders
- 15 Pushups
- 4 Pull ups
- 10 Double Unders
- 10 Pushups
- 2 Pull ups
*Learning to do double unders does not come without a challenge! My strategy is to do 4 jumps then a double, if I’m not tired, I can get into a rhythm of 2 jumps and a double. Another strategy is to wear a long sleeve T-shirt! I like my plastic rope, but it can be painful, a cloth rope is less painful but slower. Have fun beating yourself up with this one 😉
Jump – Push – Pull (MODERATE Sane Version)
- 30 jump ropes
- 20 push ups
- 10 pull up variations (assisted, TRX/suspended, bentover rows, etc)
- repeat
- 30 jump ropes
- 10 push ups
- 5 pull up variations (assisted, TRX/suspended, bentover rows, etc)
- repeat

Cool! booked in for tomorrow’s workout. Hey, can we take a poll (since Australia is in election mode)- how many people out there can do double-unders?
Done! Who can do double unders?? I also posted on Facebook and let’s just see. Thanks Lisa!
